REAL CITIES. WORLDWIDE FILMING.

Worldwide Walking Tour & City Filming Locations

Commission authentic walking tour videos, urban timelapse and city photography across the world. Share the destination and your brief; WalkGraphy helps coordinate production on location.

A city-first way to source footage

From your brief to the streets of the world.

A destination can be easy to name and difficult to film from overseas. Routes, crowd patterns, weather, permissions and deliverable specifications vary from place to place. WalkGraphy helps bring the right pieces together for original, location-specific city content.

We work with clients who need continuous walking-tour footage, urban timelapse sequences and city photography, with production coordinated through a single project brief.

Tell us the destination. We’ll review the production.

Start with the city, preferred streets or landmarks, intended use, format and target dates. We can help shape a filming scope and quotation around those details.

Wherever the story is

Your next filming destination can be anywhere.

Our production network works across regions, connecting city-content buyers with on-location filmmaking resources and coordinated project management. The location shown in a brief does not have to match your own time zone—or your travel plans.

If you need a city that is not listed above, tell us. We will review local production options, crew availability, access requirements and the proposed schedule before confirming a project.

One brief for a multi-city project

Commissioning several destinations? Share a city list and your common specifications. A coordinated approach helps reduce repeated briefing, inconsistent capture requirements and fragmented delivery conversations.

What you can commission

Three ways to capture your destination.

Choose the format that suits your audience and distribution. We can discuss original commissioned production, a coordinated brief and the intended rights package before filming.

01

Walking Tour Video Production

Steady street-level sequences along a proposed route, with attention to continuity, ambient atmosphere and audience experience.

02

Urban Timelapse Videography

Changing light, skyline movement, traffic flows and time-of-day transitions planned around the right vantage points.

03

City Photography

Original photographs of streets, public spaces, architecture and destination atmosphere for digital and editorial content.

For a route or city-specific concept outside these categories, explore custom city footage and footage licensing.

Made for content buyers

Location footage that fits the way you publish.

Whether you are working on an individual YouTube episode or a broader content programme, the starting point is the same: a clear destination and an agreed visual brief.

YouTube travel channels

Build a destination series with original walking tours and consistent capture requirements, without arranging travel for every city.

Travel and tourism platforms

Show places as they really look and feel through street footage, cityscapes and still photography.

Documentary and media producers

Source supplementary city scenes and establishing visuals around a defined editorial brief.

Brands and creative agencies

Commission location-specific assets for destination pages, campaigns and digital storytelling.

Why WalkGraphy

Local execution. Less coordination on your side.

A successful remote shoot is not only about getting someone to a location. It is about aligning the footage with its actual purpose and reducing the uncertainty between a brief and usable deliverables.

A single production conversation

Keep location requirements, technical specifications and delivery expectations together instead of briefing several people independently.

Footage planned for the intended use

Discuss camera format, orientation, route duration, weather tolerance, content style and licensing before the shoot.

Real city details

Give filming teams room to capture authentic street movement while still working within the agreed creative direction.

Practical scope and permissions

Identify venue access, property rules, people appearing prominently on camera and rights-sensitive uses before committing to a setup.

A clear process

From location request to usable footage.

01

Share your destination

Tell us the city, route or landmark, intended use, preferred shooting window and visual references.

02

Agree the scope

Review the proposed approach, technical requirements, access considerations, licence terms and quote.

03

Capture on location

The agreed production is carried out with the relevant on-location crew or partners.

04

Receive the deliverables

Receive the specified files through the agreed delivery process and review them against the scope.

Planning your city shoot

A little detail makes the footage far more useful.

A precise brief helps avoid unnecessary revisions and mismatched footage. These are the details we normally discuss when reviewing a location request.

  • Destination and preferred neighbourhoods or streets
  • Footage type, walking route or shot list
  • Horizontal or vertical format and preferred resolution
  • Approximate duration and continuous-shot needs
  • Daylight, night, season and weather preferences
  • Usage, exclusivity and any required releases

Frequently asked questions

Answers before you commission.

Can I request filming in a city that is not listed?
Yes. Send the destination and brief. We can review suitable on-location production options and confirm feasibility and availability for the project.
Can you produce footage in several cities?
Multi-city briefs are welcome. Share the full destination list, specifications and desired schedule, and we will discuss a coordinated scope.
Are these walking tours that visitors book in person?
No. WalkGraphy provides commissioned walking-tour videos and other urban imagery for content buyers. We do not sell guided sightseeing tickets on this page.
Can I specify a route, shooting time or format?
Yes. Include preferred streets, landmarks, resolution, orientation, duration and visual references. We will review the request against on-location conditions and permissions.
Can I use footage in a monetized channel or advertising?
Usage rights depend on the agreed licence, intended distribution and any necessary third-party clearances. Tell us where and how the material will be published so appropriate terms can be discussed.
What determines the quote and delivery schedule?
The destination, crew and access availability, scope, duration, equipment, weather conditions, editing needs, delivery format and licence requirements all affect the quotation and timeline.
